First trip to Disneyland...

We took our 2 1/2 year old to Disneyland for the first time!! It was a HOT day and very crowded!! We quickly learned which rides were a bit too much for her... She really liked sitting in her stroller, eating cotton candy and watching everyone ride the roller coaster...Her favorite rides were Dumbo and Heimlich at California Adventure land...

She loved the castle... when she first saw it, her eyes almost popped out of her head!

Our poor little Princess was exhausted after her fun filled day!!!

Can't wait to go back this winter and take the baby!!!

All because 2 people fell in love...

My grandparents have been married for over 50 years... they had two children, who each had two children and from that, here are their 8 great grandkids, 4 boys and 4 girls!!!

is like trying to nail jello to the wall!!! This was my sad excuse for a "grandkid" picture... I think it shows EXACTLY how they all are at this exact moment in their lives... "DJ" is a great kid and loves babies... "big A" wants nothing to do with a camera and "little A" will smile for just about anyone!!!

And then there are the tender moments like this that remind me why I love doing what I do...

My latest victim...

My nephew and my brother came out to visit for a couple of days... A total surprise for us, which was WONDERFUL!!! The bad news for my nephew, was that he was going to be his aunt's latest victim!! I mean, with those eyes, how could you not take THOUSANDS of pictures?? He was a good sport... even stopping to pose for me at the zoo!!! Here are some shots I have taken the past week of my nephew, my daughter and the zoo.. its been a fun visit!






I thought it was cool looking back at the pictures from the zoo... being in the "wilds" of Africa and looking out at the pacific ocean!! Some days I just love Southern California!

A Sunday in the "park"

Let me first explain that my daughter calls her "bebe's" house the park... Our church had a little bbq at my moms house today. It was a beautiful day out!! Not only did we spend time with friends and family, but I got to practice shooting outdoors on my favorite subjects... my girls!!! My goal was to be able to take clear, crisp photos with pretty good exposure. Not to toot my own horn (toot toot) but I think I did pretty good!!!

Okay, so I guess I will join the world of blogging too!!! Since this is SO "easy" ahem... it may take me a while to get this thing up and running, esp. since my website is a work in progress!!! So, between starting up a business, finishing up a website, jumping rope with my 2 year old and blowing razzberries with my 6 month old, maybe I can find a spare moment to get the hang of this!!!
